What's in your potty?

What's in your potty? Hmm.... not much in ours. By ours I mean Boo's and there really not much going on at our house in terms of potty training. Boo is nearing 2 1/2 years old and while she will inform us when she pees and poops that's where it ends. Oh and she requests some privacy while pooping - some good pre readiness skills. I'm not pushing it. :) (pun intended).

Sure, I would love to change one less bottom but I'm not looking forward to accidents, cleaning out potties, etc. She did have one successful "sit" but the next day was back to random peeing and got REALLY upset when I pointed out her pants were wet. So, she is back in diapers for now and will remain until she seems more ready.

We took a trip to the bookstore recently and purchased "Once Upon a Potty". It was very interesting to Boo and she definitely liked to pictures. I think her favorite part was asking "what's in the potty?". I will say this - I'm not crazy about the terminology in this book. "Wee-wee", "pee-pee", "poo-poo" aren't really words I use - we call a vagina, a vagina, pee is pee and poop is poop. I don't want to get super technical and say urine or bm (omg how I hate that term!!) but some middle ground is good.
